I like Boule's sweets (the macarons there is a contender for top spot - the other being Jin Patisserie in Venice), and the fruit gelees and pastries are good as well. The service there, though, can be off-putting at times (one time I got a very flamboyant, snooty person to "help" me.)

First, bravo for the photos. (I've never been able to get them to allow me to take photos.)

I'm not keen on their chocolates. The flavors are inventive, but the centers are too greasy for my liking.

I love their ice cream. Last time I was there I had banana and it was divine. Their Macarons were very good, but I still think I prefer Miette's ... but I won't turn any of them down. I also had some wonderful little chocolate cookies around Christmas, I don't know what they were called but were little nuggets rather like the cookie part of oreos (only really good, of course).

My favorite will always be the Calamansi Fruit Pate. (But I can see a honey ice cream knocking it off the top.)

Have you tried Pazzo Gelato at Sunset Junction yet? I haven't had their gelato yet but I really enjoy the sorbets (pineapple cardamom especially).
